Business Submission & Claim Terms
Terms for companies adding, claiming or editing directory listings.
Authority and accuracy
By submitting or claiming a listing, you represent that you are authorised to act for the business or have permission to provide the submitted information. You must provide accurate, current and non-misleading information and must not impersonate another entity or claim a listing you do not control.
Content rights
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant the operator a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence for the duration of publication to host, reproduce, format, resize, display and distribute the submitted text, logos, images and other materials solely to operate, promote and improve the directory and related services. You represent that you have the rights needed to grant this licence.
Moderation and publication
Submission does not guarantee publication. Software-Directory may review, edit formatting, request evidence, reject misleading or unlawful content, merge duplicate records, suspend a listing or remove unsupported claims. Material changes to legal identity, ownership, website/domain or other sensitive fields may require re-verification.
Paid upgrades
A paid plan may provide additional profile fields, analytics, leads, promotional inventory or other stated benefits. Payment does not create a right to manipulate organic rankings or suppress competitors. Sponsored visibility is governed by the Advertising Policy and must be labelled.
Termination of claim
The business or operator may end a claim relationship. Ending a claim does not necessarily require deletion of a factual company record where the operator has an independent lawful basis to maintain the directory entry; however, personal-data rights and valid correction/removal requests remain applicable.
