4.1 Acceptance and scope

By accessing or using Software-Directory, you agree to these Terms of Use and the policies incorporated by reference. If you use the service on behalf of a company or other organisation, you represent that you are authorised to bind that organisation where applicable. Paid business services may also be governed by the Paid Services & Advertiser Terms.

4.2 Informational nature

Directory records, comparisons, pricing, rankings, company attributes, technologies, products and job listings are provided for discovery and informational purposes. They do not constitute legal, financial, investment, employment, procurement or professional advice. Users remain responsible for due diligence and contractual decisions.

4.3 Accounts and security

Users must provide accurate account information, keep credentials confidential and promptly notify Software-Directory of suspected unauthorised access. The service may require additional verification for sensitive actions, ownership claims or paid placements. Administrator accounts may be protected by mandatory TOTP two-factor authentication and recovery codes.

4.4 Permitted use

You may browse, search, compare and use the website for legitimate personal or business research. You may not misuse the platform, interfere with security, scrape or harvest data at scale without permission, circumvent technical restrictions, impersonate another person/company, submit malware, manipulate rankings, create deceptive listings or use the service to facilitate unlawful conduct. See the Acceptable Use policy.

4.5 Directory and software data

A listing is not an endorsement. “Verified” or “Claimed” refers only to the verification process described in the applicable policy; it is not a guarantee of solvency, quality, regulatory status or performance unless the badge expressly states what was checked. Users should verify critical information with the company or official source.

4.6 Jobs

Job information may come from employers or third-party feeds and can change or expire without notice. Software-Directory is not the employer and does not guarantee that a role remains open, that a candidate will be considered, or that job information is complete. Unless the site expressly collects an application, the “Apply” action normally redirects users to an external source. See the Jobs Policy.

4.7 Leads and introductions

When a user requests quotes, contact or introductions, Software-Directory may transmit the request to selected relevant providers as described before submission. The website does not become a party to any later contract between the user and a provider and does not guarantee quotes, response times, prices or results.

4.8 Third-party services and links

Third-party websites, payment processors, job sources, software vendors, advertisers and affiliate destinations are governed by their own terms and privacy notices. Software-Directory is not responsible for third-party availability, content or conduct to the maximum extent permitted by law.

4.9 Suspension and termination

Software-Directory may restrict or terminate access, remove content or suspend listings where reasonably necessary to address security, fraud, non-payment, illegal content, policy violations, intellectual-property complaints, misleading information or abuse. Where applicable law requires notice or reasons, the platform will provide them.

4.10 Warranty and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer or data-protection rights. For business users, the final paid-service contract should include an appropriate liability cap and exclusions reviewed under the governing law.

4.11 Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law applicable to the operator’s establishment, within an EU legal framework and a Spain implementation baseline where relevant. A jurisdiction clause is not used to waive mandatory rights that cannot lawfully be waived, including mandatory consumer or data-protection rights.
